Got problems? Where does YOUR help come from?

Too often, we get so caught up in the minute everyday little things. Our focus and perspective changes to only see the little things. To see them magnified, at that. This occurs to the point that you don't even realize that its just the perspective, that your mind is too zoomed in to a specific area in your life... a little area.

Have you ever looked in a magnifying mirror? When you look into it, you don't really see your whole face; your view is partial. Perhaps you are intrigued by a blackhead on the tip of your nose; oh my goodness.. there are more! You look at your eye, Ay Dios mio! CROWS FEET! How could you not have noticed those gigantic wrinkles before?! Chill out, take a deep breath and focus on what really matters.

If your issues continue growing and start to take on a "scary monster" effect, and you begin to cower or feel defeated... I recommend re-focusing your heart and mind... you may be dwelling on something that you should just leave in God's hands. Did you get that last part? "...just LEAVE IN GOD'S HANDS." God has your back! If you don't believe me, read some of these God-breathed words:

For the Lord your God is a mercifulGod; he will not abandon or destroy you or forget the covenant with your ancestors, which he confirmed to them by oath. (Deuteronomy 4:31 NIV)

But be assured today that the Lord your God is the one who goes across ahead of you like a devouring fire. He will destroy them; he will subdue them before you. And you will drive them out and annihilate them quickly, as the Lord has promised you. (Deuteronomy 9:3 NIV)

For the Lord your God is the one who goes with you to fight for you against your enemies to give you victory. ” (Deuteronomy 20:4 NIV)

Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be terrified; do not be discouraged, for the LORD your God will be with you wherever you go." (Joshua 1:9 NIV)

For this God is our God for ever and ever; he will be our guide even to the end. (Psalm 48:14 NIV)

Surely God is my help; the Lord is the one who sustains me. (Psalm 54:4 NIV)

Praise be to the Lord, to God our Savior, who daily bears our burdens. Selah Our God is a God who saves; from the Sovereign LORD comes escape from death. (Psalms 68:19-20 NIV)

And God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work. (2 Corinthians 9:8 NIV)

Its been said many different ways, 'SMALL GOD, BIG PROBLEMS. BIG GOD, SMALL PROBLEMS' You may have read this quote in an email or seen it on tumlr or Instagram or any other social network, no matter how many times its been said I agree with it 100%.

I pray that this post has blessed you in one way or another, if it has... please share. If you have any prayer requests, I would love to stand with you in prayer... so just leave me a comment or email me :).

Be blessed.

  1. AMEN!! Agreed, most of the time our persepective is whats the problem. We look at things from a worldy point of view and momentary instead of a Kingdom point of view and eternal! Even in our decision making process we lose sight of the eternal perspective of the Kingdom. Thats why its called Kingdom living and not wordly living. Definetly not the easiest thing to do, switch our mindset, but I would prefer the Kingdom perspective than the worldly one! Thanks for the post girl! Beautifully put together, awesome scripture references, and overall annointed!

  2. Amen! It really is about perspective, if you allow the enemy to take root in the negative thoughts about yourself that will be all you see but if we keep the "Word" in us and the positive thoughts and allow God to use us and believe and trust in Him all things will work its self out and only then can we continue to grow in Him.

Yess Sis! Loved this!!! God Bless!!! :-)
